JPET (JOB PLACEMENT, EDUCATION, TRAINING)
JPET is a Government program to assist young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, or facing similiar severe problems, in ways which not only help them with their income and personal support needs, but which also ensure they secure career paths and sustainable futures.
JPET targets young people 15-21 years of age, who face multiple barriers to participation in education, or vocational training, or gaining and maintaining employment. The JPET client group covers disadvantaged young people who are:

Youth attending school or TAFE who are homeless or at risk of being homeless

Youth not attending school or TAFE who are homeless or at risk of being homeless

Youth not in regular employment who are homeless or at risk of being homeless

Ex - offenders who are not necessarily homeless

Refugess, who are not necessarily homeless

State wards or youth exiting wardship who are not necessarily homeless
